THE ORIGIN OF THE NAME

QUATRE MAINS the label owes its name to the love for music that both sisters share. Before the sisters discovered their love for fashion, music was a big part of their lives. They both play the piano from an early age. Because in the music world the term “four hands” is used when two pianists play one piano together, the name for their fashion label was soon born.

Besides playing the piano together, the sisters use their four hands – the literal translation of the French quatre-mains, to design their fashionable loungewear collection. Just like in the quatre-main pieces on the piano, they also interact perfectly with each other in their designs. This cohesion is clearly reflected in the loungewear collection of QUATRE MAINS the label.
